Fear is Irrelevant

Image result for doubt kills more dreams than failure ever willFear is Irrelevant
I understand why some feel lost
I believe we need to be lost in order to eventually be found
Life is too short to let stress and sadness rule your life
Find something you enjoy and make that your focus
Find someone you love and let them in
Let them help you
Help you find yourself and the true meaning of life
Allow them to see you and your lowest point
And let them build you past your highest point
Hate kills
Sadness ruins
People need time to enjoy what they have and who they are
I know why there are those who push to find out your problems
I know why we have a fear of failure
We fear not fitting in
We fear being humiliated at the hands of others due to our short comings
But in all truth, doubt kills more dreams than failure ever

Dream Threads
The men were in dark British uniforms, on tall black horses. They had been looking for hours but still were confused at how I was gone so fast. You see, I am wanted for stealing my neighbors chicken, well, for my dog stealing my neighbors chicken. I tried to explain but they wouldn’t listen, they just told me that I would be allowed to say my piece in court. And that point was the point at which my mouth began to speak before my brain could think. All I remember was shouting some derogatory words at the man in charge and I was then told that I was to be tried on accounts of going against the court, or something stupid like that. So I did what anyone else in my position would’ve done, I threw a rock at the guy in front and ran. Now I’m hiding up high in a willow, watching them search for me bellow. I can’t go home because I’ll be seen, I can’t turn myself in and apologize because I’ll be hung , see the issue I’m having? So after sitting in that stupid and uncomfortable tree for what felt like eons, it got too dark for them to continue searching. I then saw an opportunity and I took it.
I was now on my way to my buddy Roy’s house, he lived about 5 miles from the village and I knew he would hide me there until the whole mess blew over. So I get there, knock on the door, and walk in, well Roy had already heard everything about what had happened. He says to me “Jameson, you couldn’t possible have thought that you could escape these blue coated morons!” Roy hated being under British rule as much as I did, so after arguing for a bit. H let me get settled in his little crawl space type deal so that I could hide out for a while. Being so far from the village I was able to hunt with Roy and work out in the garden to help earn my keep. Plus it gave me something to do during the day.  I hid out there with Roy for about a month and then I figured that id head into town and see if anyone cared that I was back. And they did, I was chased out of town and told not to come back or id be hanged. Thinking that was the stupidest reason to hang someone I went ahead and left town and went back to Roy’s. But once I got to where I was able to see the house, that’s when it all went bad. Someone had found out that Roy had kept me and lit the poor guys place on fire. He could do nothing but stand and watch his life burn down. He was so angry he said that he would kill all the blue coats himself if he had too. And that’s when I got an idea.” “Josh come downstairs… Dinners ready!” My mom yelled. I guess I’ll have to finish reading another time. It’s just that, whenever I read I always find myself pulled into the book, lulled by the story. I imagine myself in that story as if I were a character.

Sk8 lifestyle

Every day. After school, work, anytime, we go to the park. No matter how cold, how hot. The skate park is our life, it’s where we blow off steam, where we all grew up, what we do with our free time. Skating is not only our passion, Skating is our life. My name is Joey, and I have been skating with my cousin Kale for 8 years now.  But we all just call him K. We are both 17 now but started while we were 9, we got a couple Walmart boards to mess with. Later, once we got better, those boards snapped.
We literally skate at the park anywhere from 5-6 days a week. Even at work, granted that is where we work. Just as check in and instructors for skate school. But that’s basically all we know how to do. We do go to school, but we just kind scrape by, we aren’t popular at school. We just suffer through the day to go to the skate park afterwards. It’s just a way to unwind. You get to meet people who have the same interest as you. And people who can teach you something as well as people you can help learn.

We may not be popular at school, but at the park, we knew nearly everyone. We all gave tips and showed how to get better. Life is a dream on a board. Until you hit your head, then you can’t dream without everyone saying you’ll slip into a coma. But you know, if it’s something you enjoy. Do it, who cares what others think? Follow your dreams and do what makes YOU happy. Not what you think would make others happy. Now quit reading and go have fun.

Life cant possibly be more fun

Life is good
Never in my life have I seen the sky so blue. Watching clouds roll across the sky as if they were ships soaring through the ocean. The sky makes the day seem as though it will last forever, as the sun shines without being interrupted. The clouds flowing fast also seem as though they could be a plane flying on a clear day.
My car was scorching, in hindsight a black paint job may not have been the best idea. Though it seems to disappear at night, it draws heat to the darkness. Life was good though. A clear day with my night in the day. Rolling through town, music blaring and windows down. Loving life, every precious moment.
Rolling up to the stoplight next to a friend in his grey truck, giving me a look like this time would be different.  The light turns and smoke flies, leaving side by side but later all I see is an ashy speck in the rear view. Pulling up to the house, and getting the whole, “I almost had you” again.  The kid and his old farm truck never learn.

Lying in bed waiting on everyone to go hit the trails I grab my board and hit the park. The white on my board was nearly gone the bottom was so torn. But hey, a snowflake melts at some point. Boards, cars, friends, how could anything beat that. Life is good when you’re rolling with your crew.

Spring days

Calm days begin
Violet leaves begin to fall
The lilacs begin to bud
Clouds looming like titans in the sky
As if Viking ships are soaring through the sea
The sky as the waters of morocco

Tainted with clouds like English tea bags
