I Am Poem

I Am…
I am..
The oldest of three, the most laid back of all
A fun time, immaturity in its most pure form
16 but more a 12 year old at heart
A son, the guinne pig for all, school and anything untried
A cyclist, this is where I thrive
The adrenaline junky, no fears, no limits, no regrets
A nephew, with an uncle like an older brother, an aunt like a sister and a cousin like a best friend
Tall, with no interest in typical and traditional athletics
Blue eyes, and long hair
A car guy, imports, classics, they’re all my style
Simple minded, one to live day by day and not sweat the small stuff
Born and raised in Springfield
Living as a health enthusiast, my health is literally my life
Glad my poem is nearly complete
Hopeful my poem is up to standards, poems are not my forte

  1. I see that you can relate to being the oldest and the guinea pig like I was growing up. I love that you don't "sweat the small stuff" and retain some of your 12-year-old self. Thanks for posting this, Jordan--even if poems aren't your fave!

  2. Hi again, Jordan!
I can tell from your object piece and your poem that your'e a funny guy! I love the last two lines. They made your piece unique. I like to think of myself basically of a mixture of a 12 year old and an old bitter lady, so I can relate to you there. Thanks for sharing a bit about you.
